3. Visit your local library
Not only is your local library packed with books (well, duh) but it also runs school holiday activities for kids. Completely free of charge!
Dulwich Hill library is holding a Haunted House workshop for kids aged 5 – 12yrs. Wednesday 1 October, 2-3pm.

2. Inspire Yoga
You’d be surprised how easily kids get into yoga! Sure, the meditation aspect isn’t for every kid, but it’s never too early to learn good focus and mindfulness to kick start the school term.
The Summer Hill Community Centre runs classes for all ages and fitness levels for only $10/class. There is a form to fill out before you arrive. Classes are on Mondays and Thursdays, 6:30pm.

1. Poms Away!
This spectacular exhibition is ending soon and I thoroughly recommend a visit to Sweets Workshop to see the wonder of the noble Pom. These artworks, described by artist Meredith Walker-Harding as “anything I could whack a pom on”, are a great exploration for you and your kids.
Get inspired here and follow it up with an at-home crafternoon. This exhibition ends 3 October 2015, so get on it.
